Artist Statement
Vivid dreams inspire much of my work. Influenced by art therapy, I use dreamscapes to bridge the conscious and unconscious, the seen and unseen, the familiar and the uncanny. I have found that the world becomes fluid and intricate when looked at closely, and I believe that the self does, too. My art explores this strangeness, using colors, texture, and symbols to illustrate how layers of meaning converge.
